Continuous Monster Effects come into play as soon as the monster is Summoned, and for the most part, don't disappear until the monster is removed from the field.
"Jinzo" and "Spell Canceller" are two such cards with Continuous Effects. Continuous Monster Effects do not start a Chain, therefore they cannot be negated by "Divine Wrath", "Pulling the Rug" or "Doomcaliber Knight".
